Project Runway Rules Seattle

pr_exit_keith_130x300.gifThe big drama on Project Runway this week was Jude Law getting thrown off the show for having contraband in his room at the PR compound and we have to say that it was more than a little disappointing how quietly he went into that good night. Can you imagine past villians getting thrown off the show for having fashion books in their room? Santino would have popped a neck vein and whipped Gunn with it until he repeated, "whatever happend to Andre" ad infinitum, but Jude just sat and took it. And left.

The most interesting thing about the whole incident is that we're aware of it. We anticipated it, we read the SLOG analysis in the run-up and we watched it. Seattlest is in no way a fashionista and, sorry Seattle, neither are most of you. In the Emerald City fleece has been the new black for so long it's not even funny to point out anymore, but the situation remains. We're apparently digging Project Runway, though. According to a snippet of a press release we have in our posession, PR broke some Bravo ratings records this week and was #1 in its timeslot in Seattle and San Francisco.

A Seattleite watching a fashion program is like a eunuch watching Skinemax.
