<description>&lt;p&gt;I&apos;ve used mine quite a bit over the past year.  It works very well provided that you score the top of the mango before you start to slice into it.  Otherwise it turns the bottom to mush.
It&apos;s not really that much harder to just core the mango with a paring knife.  The finished mango halfs look a lot better using this though, so it&apos;s great if you want to serve half-mangoes for dessert.
The trick here is finding good mangoes.  The smaller mangoes you usually see in store here are fibrous and bland.  The larger variety, which is more fleshy and tasty, is harder to find.  &lt;/p&gt;</description>
