Hey, I invented that logical form for the area! How about "Lake City is the Renton of Everett", or "Auburn is the Burien of Kent , or even "Mercer Island is the Vashon of Bellevue!" I got a million of 'em!

Funny. People in Seattle haven't talked in those terms since "Alki; New York by and by." I noticed people talking in those terms first when I moved to Ann Arbor for grad school. I think it indicates a deep lack of civic self-esteem. (although a lot of those references were more about rain than everything else). Anyway, I'm from Seattle. I don't give a crap about anywhere else. Poor Seth prolly wants to go home.
