A quick rundown on where our beloved Husky basketball types are now.
Brandon Roy: Averaged 19.0 ppg for Portland's Vegas Summer League team. That's 8th in the league. Here's video, and a podcast interview with Roy and Jarrett Jack. Want to smile? Here's Roy swatting Jordan Farmar in last year's UCLA-UW game at Hec Ed. Marques Johnson's comment: "Woooooooooo! Get down, young fella!"
Bobby Jones: The Philadelphia media is making much of Jones' similarity to another Bobby Jones, who played for the Sixers in the early 80s. Bobby Jones 2.0 signed a contract Sunday and is slated to play with the Sixers in the Rocky Mountain Review summer league, which starts tonight. Jones's Sixers will play the Sonics. Expect Jones to guard that ridiculous Sene guy and probably hold him to 0 points. The P-I points out that the Sixers must think highly of Jones, they took him with the 37th pick in the draft, ahead of other Pac-10 stars like Leon Powe (49th) and Hassan Adams (54th).
Nate Robinson: Played for the Knicks' 4-1 summer league team, averaged 12.2 ppg, 4.6 apg. He started out really hot, averaging 21 ppg in the Knicks first three games, prompting HoopsWorld to tout him as a potential Summer League MVP.

Jamaal Williams: Playing for Golden State's summer league team. Didn't get much time in the first three games, but WENT OFF in the last game of the short season, scoring 27 points last night on 13-18 shooting in a win over Toronto. That's our Jamaal. He scored the go-ahead basket with 1:47 left. #1 overall pick Andrea Barganini missed a three-point attempt at the buzzer, leaving the Raptors two points short. Barga-who? Props to Mr. Williams, who we always assumed would go straight to the Turkish league. Maybe his low-post game can work in the League after all?
Will Conroy: Was scheduled to play for the Spurs summer league team, but, as Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports on his blog , Conroy instead had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his leg. He played through the injury this season with Tulsa of the NBDL, averaging 12.6 ppg, 6.7 apg. He should be healthy in two months, in time for NBA training camps.
Tre Simmons: Listed on Phoenix's summer league roster, but didn't play. Not sure if he wasn't there or what. Played 15 games for PAOK of Greece last season. He got about 20 mpg, but averaged less than 10 ppg.
Mike Jensen: Regular caddy for Dino Rossi's daily 36 holes of golf.
