All The Stars Are Out Tonight

chita_rivera.jpgThe funniest thing Seattlest ever overheard in New York happened when we were going to NYU. We were eating in the dining hall when this musical theater kid came in and sat down next to his musical theater friends:

Musical theater friend: How was the premiere?

Musical theater kid: Oh amazing. ALL the stars were there--Martin Short, Bernadette Peters, Chita Rivera...

ALL the stars will be out at the baseball All-Star Game tonight (5 pm, FOX), and thanks to the rule that each team must have at least one all-star, you might see Mark Redman, Bronson Arroyo, Brandon Webb...

Ichiro and Jose Lopez of the M's made the team--Ichiro's starting for the fifth time in six years (the only time he didn't start was last year). Grady Sizemore of Everett's Cascade High makes his first all-star appearance.

Kenny Rogers (11-3, 3.85) starts for the AL and Brad Penny (10-2, 2.91) starts for the NL.
