On the off-chance you're interested in doing something besides hanging out at art galleries all weekend long, head down to the S.S. Marie Antoinette for the two-night all-ages party thrown by locally-based music collective Beep Repaired. They're celebrating the new release of a compilation featuring 18 of their artists, entitled Beep Repaired Family Tree.

Line ups for both nights are as follows:beep.jpg

FRIDAY JULY 7TH
Via
Eric Miller
Corespondents
The Bismarck
Lake Of Falcons
Joy Wants Eternity

SATURDAY JULY 8TH
Blicky
McGovern Goldwater Ticket
Snowman Plan
PlentyFace
Pomeranian
Beast, Please Be Still (special guests)

Both shows start at 8pm and cost $5 at the door. Chip in another two dollas and you get the CD for free. It may be worth it, considering you'll be seeing a whole bunch of the bands on the album. Seattlest can't personally vouch for every single one of these artists, but we are intimately familiar with immensely talented Dylanesque alt-country-blues singer/songwriter/wordsmith/troubadour Eric Miller, as well as the drums-bass-fiddle-and-laptop-soundtrack-to-bizarro-world known as Snowman Plan. They're good people and great musicians. It promises to be a two-night music spectacular---Beep Repaired knows how to party.
