<description>&lt;p&gt;There&apos;s the &quot;secret beach&quot; down between the Shilshole Bay Beach Club and West Marine store 6317 Seaview Ave. NW. There&apos;s a tiny strip of grass between the two parking lots that leads to the tiny beach. I suppose you could go swimming there.

<description>&lt;p&gt;Matthews Beach N of Magnuson Park on Sandpoint way is a generally nice spot; not usually too crowded, right on the Burke-Gilman &amp; reasonably sandy (albeit small) beach.  Parking isn&apos;t terribly good, but there are residential areas surrounding where you can usually find a spot within a five minute walk.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;there&apos;s pritchard beach (rainier valley) - it&apos;s got parking, and actual sand. I also like the lake at Lakewood park in white center. No sand, but the water&apos;s hella warmer than lake washington.
