Thurston County: Proudly Entrapping Our Troops

A sheriff who evidently gets her kicks posing as a 13-year-old encountered the soldier in a chatroom. The soldier made a date with her, and if he hoped handcuffs were going to be involved, he got his wish monkey's paw-style.

Now he's facing some ugly-sounding charges, including "communicating with a minor for immoral purposes." If this law becomes a local enforcement priority, expect attendence at the Lacey High School Girls' Soccer team car wash to plummet.
