Seattlest sifts through stacks of papers at our local coffee shops and art galleries, because while there's a lot of advertorial crap out there, every once in a while you find something really cool. Recently, for example, we spotted The Bear Deluxe.
Published in Portland, Oregon with contributors from around the world, The Bear Deluxe is a quarterly journal of art and the environment that's been lauded by Adbusters, Utne Reader, and Print magazine.
Issue #23 of the indie, design-y, green zine is now out and it's Fuh-REE!
Sightings have been recorded at: All City Coffee, Bauhaus, Bluebottle Gallery, Bulldog News, Caffe Ladro (all locations),Caffe Petirosso, Cafe Solstice, Cafe Vita, Victrola, Joe Bar, Top Pot (downtown and Capitol Hill), Left Bank Books, Punch Gallery, and a slough of other places, but we suggest you make haste 'cause even deluxe bears got to hibernate.

Tuesdays are Muppet Days
