Schoooool's Out For Ever

Is this how it works: Seattle Public Schools has some issues with its budget, threatens a bunch of school closures and then watches parents scramble to defend their home turf? It all gets called off until next year when they again release a bunch of school names and wait for the response.

We think they really mean it this time, actually.

Here's what they released after the Community Advisory Committee reported back yesterday:

Are they going to close them this time? And we're a little behind on this issue -It's been two years of threatend closures with no end in sight- Why don't we just fund the damn district already? Anybody?
