Our modern day prophet had a convo with God the other day and God told him the Pacific NW is screwed. How do prophets get in touch with deities in 2006, anyway? That burning bush thing is so B.C., but we're not sure if He's ready for instant messaging yet. Maybe Pat Robertson recieved a burning text message from God on his phone?
"If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms," Robertson said May 8. On Wednesday, he added, "There well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest."
Steve Pool can't tell us what the weather's going to be like in five days but Pat Robertson, the man who has recently called for the assasination of Hugo Chavez, who has announced that Arial Sharon's stroke was payback for withdrawing from the Strip, who has referred to Hinduism as "Demonic" and said of college professors, "these guys are out and out communists, they are radicals, they are, you know, some of them killers, and they are propagandists of the first order... you don’t want your child to be brainwashed by these radicals, you just don’t want it to happen. Not only brainwashed but also beat up, they beat these people up, cower them into submission," this guy predicts storms and tsunami in the Northwest's future. It's pretty tame stuff from Robertson who apparently can't say something crazy enough to offend his faithful.

Was it the Lord he heard? Or these guys, who predicted an active hurricane season in December? Or did he just watch the Al Gore movie...or what?
Tonight's Worst Person in the World is...Pat Robertson!!!
You would think that if God spoke to you, he would do so in a manner in which he couldn't be misunderstood.
This reminds me of the episode of Family Guy in which they are ulogizing Brian's mom:

Cannot wait to hear what he will say when this doesn't happen...like Orel Roberts when he needed a cool mil or God said he would strike him down.
