Google's the Decider

Google's released Google Trends, which compares the frequency of two searches. After trying out the obvious, (black beats white, dogs beat cats, and good obliterates evil) we tried a few Seattle-centric battles.

Kenny G vs. Jimi Hendrix:: Jimi's the winner by a wide margin, but not in Kuala Lumpur, whose citizens either have the worst musical taste in the world or are the type of people who can't resist tasting spoiled milk.

University of Washington vs. Washington State University: They can't beat the Cougs in football or basketball, but the Dawgs crush them on the Internet. Hooray! [adjust glasses].

Dan Savage vs. Rick Santorum: These two rivals are neck-and-neck. Santorum outpolls Savage in the U.S., but Savage is the clear winner in the rest of the world. Too bad dogs can't search.
