Dress Your Kids in Pulp and Propaganda

If you're like Seattlest -- and really, who isn't? -- you think stereotypical baby clothing gets really old, really fast. Or it's just plain nauseating.

We're grateful to punk baby purveyor Pop Tots on Roosevelt, of course -- where else would we have gotten our daughter a Blondie onesie?

We were even more excited, however, to discover that hip local t-shirt customizer The Retro Image Apparel Company lets you put any of their designs on a baby tee, onesie, or creeper. (Note: we've been parents for 7 months and still aren't sure what the difference betweena creeper and a onesie is.)

They have a special section of infant & toddler designs -- mostly vintage advertising with children in the picture. But it's more fun to find stuff that's appropriately inappropriate.

If you're more daring than we are, you can cross that line and put your kid in a design you'd be embarrassed to wear yourself.

Seattlest's wife is not nearly as nauseated by Hanna Andersen as Seattlest is, but generally has little tolerance for the cuteness factor. If your kid's clothing is "cuter" than your kid, well . . . .
