Dear pansy-ass liberals at KUOW--stop the relativism. Just as there's a difference between Gitmo and My Lai, there's a difference between East and West Marginal Way.
This morning, the KUOW traffic reporter advised listeners that "Marginal Way is closed." OK--but there are TWO Marginal Ways.
There's West Marginal Way, which connects West Seattle to Burien, and is consequently used by no one, and East Marginal Way, which connects the Alaskan Way Viaduct to the First Avenue South bridge, and is a major commuting route.
We use East Marginal Way every morning--so whether it or its version to the left was closed was a critical unanswered question in our nascent day. Would we take the purportedly jammed freeway, or take a 50/50 shot on East Marginal...talk about "We report, you decide"!
We flipped over to KOMO. West Marginal Way was the closed one. God bless KOMO, the station with the courage to tell the truth.

Around The -Ists This Week

Funny you mention My Lai today. It is the 36th anniversary of the Kent State slaughter.
