Ah, Microsoft Vista: the torment is baked in!
I see in response to the big stock slide Ballmer says they are going to redouble their efforts -- but my math says if they rush Vista through final testing in 5 months (when Windows 2000 took 16), that's "retripling" their efforts.
Is anyone gonna talk about the "police action" on Capitol Hill today that shut down 5 blocks? Or is everyone just taking a day off?
In the print edition of the Daily, that article about young gambling addicts is followed by a three-column-inch ad for the Club Hollywood Casino. Ouch.
