Please Stop Dying

DeltaForm.jpgJust two years ago, veteran Mt. Rainier ranger and climber Charlie Borgh helped rescue Scott Richards, who spent two days on the mountain trying to save his friend Doug Cooley (tragically, Cooley died just a few hours after being rescued).

Today, Borgh was discovered after a fall on Mt. Deltaform near Lake Louise--his climbing partner Gabe Coler survived, and by all accounts miraculously. Deltaform is a notorious peak, one which has claimed 5 lives in the past two decades, including Bogh.

After legendary skier and big mountain guide Doug Coombs died accidentally falling off a cliff last month, and another horrible avalanche incident took snowboard pioneer Tommy Brunner with it last week, Seattlest feels like the snow and mountains are opening up and swallowing those who love them most right now.
