Tickets For Sale
Now that it officially feels like spring, it's time to start thinking about summer, and more specifically, the summer concert season. While the Bumbershoot lineup has been partially announced, and Sasquatch is right around the corner, there's a whole bunch of big shows going on sale this weekend. Cast your eyes upon their collective majesty:
INXS tickets for their June 3rd show went on sale earlier today. Yes, it's a US Bank-sponsored Concert at Marymoor Park, and yes, their new reality show-appointed lead singer makes us wish for sweet death via autoerotic asphyxiation, but everybody wanna hear some "Need You Tonight."
The Reverend Al Green, well-known for his dead-on Jamie Lidell impersonation, has a show at the Emerald Queen July 22nd, tickets available tomorrow. Frankie Valli, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, and Peter Frampton also have upcoming casino dates, all at Tulalip (July 15th, August 6th, August 10th, and August 17th, respectively), for which tickets go on sale tomorrow.
Break out the flannel, 'cause Pearl Jam's playing the Gorge! Tickets for the July 22nd show go on sale tomorrow morning. Break out the pre-teen girls, 'cause Kelly Clarkson's playing White River! Tickets for the August 6th show also on sale tomorrow morning.
Frat-boy friendly O.A.R. heads to the Moore June 17th. Tickets available tomorrow. Another Moore show going on sale tomorrow morning: Bela Fleck and the Flecktones on June 28th.
Dark, artsy, soon-to-disband (?) Tool hit the Paramount in just a few weeks (May 2nd), with tickets on sale Saturday morning. The price? Get this: $66.66. Real clever, guys.
Meanwhile, mark your calendar now: junior high slow-dance favorites Boyz II Men are playing the Paramount Theatre June 3rd. Tickets aren't available until next Saturday, April 28th. Motownphilly back again, indeed.
