You can see much more of my Sounders obsessiveness in the PUGET SOUND PRO SOCCER MUSEUM!

Hey J, thanks for the old Sounder info.
I believe we may have seen the first second generation Sounder play last night. Tony Chursky's son, Alex (http://seattleredhawks.cstv.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/chursky_alex00.html), came on as a sub in the second half of the Sounders/UW derby. He was marginally more effective than the Sounders starters, who were mostly trying to not get hurt.
The Dawgs took bragging rights, the lone goal coming in the 87th minute. (I think Ely Allen scored it.) But they also lost a player. I heard the pop just before Brett Hite (http://gohuskies.cstv.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/hite_brett00.html) hit the ground and started screaming in pain. I think it was Brett. There were no rosters and no announcements. Hopefully he'll be back in the fall when the games count.

According to this page, they're playing at Memorial Stadium. *I* get to play at Memorial sometimes. Rad!

15-7 in 1975 - not bad.

Hot damn. Seattlest has been in need of some real hooligans for some time now. Seth simply doesn't cut it.

Omigod! You just made my day. I'm leaving work early to go watch the Sounders play a pre-season match against the UW men's team. This footage is getting me all psyched! I'm telling all my soccer buddies about it!

That spike in page views today, it'll be the Seattle soccer community clicking this entry. I'm sorry. You've brought it upon yourself. Broken windows. Overturned cars. Hooligans are in Seattlest's future.
