You've heard of Gawker Stalker, right? When someone spots a celeb walking around Manhattan they notify the Gawker website of the identity and location of said star and a bunch of weirdos can track them on a map. Celebrities hate it and stalkers and people who think it's funny to piss of celebrities love it.
Well today and tomorrow Seattlest is adapting the stalker game for use here, except in our version there's only one player: China's President Hu, who's in town this week to shake a few hands and talk trade. Here's his itinerary for today from the Seattle Times:
11 a.m. arrival at Paine Field, greeted by Gov. Christine Gregoire, Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels, former Gov. Gary Locke and Boeing Commercial Airplanes President Alan Mulally.Meeting with Gregoire at Fairmont Olympic Hotel.
Afternoon tour of Microsoft campus with Bill Gates.
Meeting with Chinese community leaders.
Dinner hosted by Gregoire at Medina mansion of Bill and Melinda Gates, with 100 business, government and community leaders.
Ok, so stalking while armed with an itinerary is almost so easy it's lame, but we're looking for any side trips Hu might try to sneak in. If you can email from the Gates Compound about how Bill and Hu are strolling on the waterfront with cigars that's cool too, obviously, but we know he's going to be there. We don't know what ID back alley he might try to duck down for a quick bite, though. What we have marked on the map currently is Paine Field where he'll be at 11am.
People who may want to stalk President Hu for good: People who sell airplanes, people who sell software, people who may be the governor of a state whose ports do a a lot of business with China.
People who may want to stalk President Hu for evil: People who are from Taiwan, people who care about civil rights, people who are so down on China that they'll ride across the Pacific in shipping container only to be found out in Seattle and sent back to China anyway.
So help the stalkers out - If you see Hu walking around Belltown or something send us an email. If you don't, well, we have an itinerary and the map's not interactive anyway.

What about his schedule tomorrow? Will you be posting that too?
