-Mediocrity? Good enough for the Sonics, who are bringing back Coach Bob Hill for next season. The Supes were 21-29 with Hill piloting the ship, a worse record than the 13-17 mark compiled by pilloried ex-coach Bob Weiss. Still, the Sonics played well late in the yar.
-There was a fire at that Indian restaurant on Roosevelt Sunday night. No one was there and firefighters put the thing out in 10 minutes.
-The Tacoma News Tribune let itself take a fantastic voyage this weekend to a bizzaro dimension where Brett Favre would come play for the Seahawks.
-Also in bizzaro dimension the Mariners won this morning's earliest start ever. However, in this dimension the forces of patriotism hit a home run in the ninth to do them in.
-Seventeen Latino painters who got canned for taking the day off recently to rally have been unfired.
