Stalk of the Town

This week's weather was beautiful, enough to justify Seattlest's first bbq of the year. But it's going to be a wet weekend, according to KOMO-TV's Scott Sistek. How will Seattlest keep dry? Read on...

Ronald plans a weekend excursion to Snoqualmie to help a colleague move her office overseas and get his hands on various electronics that won't work where she's going. An ideal opportunity to try out Flexcar's new keycard system. Then home to watch the Masters.

Donte is going to be playing tour-guide for his Mom this weekend, in town from Virginia. If you happen to run into them, please only comment on how innocent and debauchery-free his existence is, and how all of his meals are well-balanced.

Don may be developing a healthy obsession with men dressing in drag—-first he loved Dame Edna when she paraded through The Moore two weeks ago and tonight he will be witnessing Seattle's own Dina Martina at the Rendezvous, her final show before she heads off for performances in NYC and beyond. Wait--Dina Martina is a man???!!!???

Jeremy will be moping all weekend due to the fact that he is moving to the graveyard shift at work. His friends, however, will try and cheer him up by making him dinner and renting early Cronenberg films on Friday, taking him to "The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things" and Tandoor on Saturday, and, finally, taking him to see "The Pillowman" at ACT Theatre. Jeremy would like to remind you about the awesome T-shirt you could win by telling Seattlest the name of your fake autobiography.

On Friday, Margaret is going to the dress rehearsal of Tacoma Symphony Orchestra's Maritime Music performance. She's hoping Saturday will be a particularly "Awesome" evening at the Mirabeau Room, and has no idea what Sunday holds.

Matt's plate consists only of Awesome on Saturday.

After enjoying the new phenomenon of Felix tonight, Seth will enjoy the old phenomenon of Curtis Mayfield at Nectar. Rain on Sunday may force Seth to cancel his plans for a five-mile Sunday morning run. If it doesn't rain, he'll doubtless come up with some other excuse and instead go to the zoo. No, that zoo.

Michael vB has plans to catch Hardison last on a triple bill tonight at the U-District's The Rainbow. And then sometimes this weekend he's off to the NW Film Forum for Claire Denis' The Intruder. That's in French, which, though he will understand at most 10 percent, will make him feel better about still paying loans for his undergraduate French study.

Dan has to do a ton of last minute crap tonight which is not going to include any fun stalkable events unless you want to help him pack up some luggage, and after Saturday you'll have to stalk him in Chicago where he'll be until late next week.

David S. will be throwing a weekend-long party. Felix will be there, so will "Awesome" and Congressman Santos. Woo-hooo, yeah!!...aw crap, someone invited Form 1040.

Deborah will have to do a little cramming to finish her book in time for Book Club on Sunday (Under the Volcano, by Malcolm Lowry). She's looking forward to seeing whether the people who hated Mrs. Dalloway will like this book any more, and why. She also hopes to sneak in a movie between naps.

Jack is doing nothing tonight. Jealous? Tomorrow morning, Jack will rise to a glorious day of doing nothing. Seeing a trend here? Good. Sunday... NOTHING. None of this "socializing," or "being productive," or "taking showers." His wife will make him change his underwear... But the jokes on her, as you can't change what's not there. That's right.

This weekend, Audrey will get Lost, partake in the "Awesome", and "have coffee" with a new old friend.
