Threadbare On The Boards

The conversation at Seattlest Home Headquarters last weekend went something like this:

"Hey sweets, I'm buying us tickets to On The Boards for Friday night. We don't have plans, right?"

"Ahhh, no, I don't think so. Who is it?"

"Mark Haim. A bunch of solos set to the Goldberg Variations."

"Got it. Goldberg. Go for it."

"He might be naked at some point."

"Talk about going for it."

We agonized a bit whether to choose the night when Haim performs all the solos from his most well-known work by himself as he traditionally has done (Friday), or to take the risk in seeing other dancers perform some of the solos instead (tonight/Sat). His Goldberg solos have never been up for grabs by other dancers, so part of Seattlest really wants to see what other artists will do with his precise choreography. For reasons both schedule-ish and stooge-ish, we opted for All Haim, All Friday Night. If anyone does attend either tonight's or Saturday's performance, drop us a line and let us know how it went.
