-REI announced that 20% of their electrical demands will soon be met by green power. Utter bullshit. REI should be using 100% renewable energy. Nice start, guys. Finally.

-A Federal Appeals Court decided that Jim McDermott broke the law when he leaked a recorded phone conversation between Newt Gingrich and John Boehner to reporters. He could be on the hook for $700,000.

-Oddsmakers say that the Mariner's manager Mike Hargrove has a 13/2 chance of being the first manager of the season to quit or be fired. Ex Mariner manager Bob Melvin is the most likely NL manager to exit first at 5/1.

-The Seattle City Council is allowing the Westlake Center/Allentown streetcar line.

Bah. Congressman McDurmott was a whistle blower when radical right Leader John Boehner and Newt Gingrich were discussing the unethical and illegal actions that stem from the culture of corruption that has dominated our congress for over a decade of radical right-wing Republican control.

Congressman Jim McDermott kicked ass back then and he still does now.
