Crazy Kayakers on Broadband Sports
We've been having some fun with YouTube videos of late over here at Seattlest, but recently we also ran across this video on BroadbandSports.com, which serves up fewer crazy singing chinese college students, and more crazy outdoor sports people. It may be a bit hard to make out from the grainy video still on the right, but that fuzzy red blotch is actually a kayaker, Trip Jennings, intentionally riding off a waterfall back in November, 2004. The 80-foot Money Drop in Rock Creek near Stevenson, specifically. Nice work for a guy named Trip.
Broadband Sports saves us from wading around YouTube as much for the kind of videos we're after, so we already prefer it slightly. There also seems to be quite a bit of local or regional northwest footage lurking in there as well, compared to the unwashed masses over at YouTube. However, if they'd let us imbed these suckers like YouTube does, we'd like them even more.
