Second Favorite Day Ever

A4equinx.jpgYes, yes, spring has sprung as of yesterday and cliches are blooming like daffodils. But really, the day Seattlest pines for is April 2nd, when clocks will get set forward. Until then, this Equinox business is just a bunch of astrological hullabaloo.

Instead we ask: what better way to celebrate the perennial discussion of daylight adjustments and time-telling machinations than with beer? Exactly. The Hops on Equinox Spring Beer Festival, sponsored by those online SeattleTimes/Northwest Source types, kicks off this Friday the 24th. Seattlest helped out at a booth for this event two years ago, but we don't remember much, so you're guess is as good as ours what this year will entail.

What we can confirm is that charging $8 for designated drivers and giving them "free soda and water samples" is a complete slap in the face. Seriously folks, let the squares in for free. It is the least you can do when charging $2.50 per taste.
