KIRO, we're about 117 kinds of in love with you

site_header_logo.jpgNot only can you watch the World Baseball Classic live on KIRO's channel 117 (including tonight's pivotal Japan/Korea tilt), tomorrow you'll be able to watch live NCAA tournament basketball--a different game than KIRO is showing on its regular feed. That's two games.

And, on channel 107, they'll be showing a third game. Three games! Here's KIRO's press release announcing this earth-shattering news, and here's their TV listings tool, which you can use to determine which games they will show.

You must have either HD, or Comcast to enjoy this bountiful basketball bonanza. At Seattlest HQ, we're requisitioning one tv to watch through the old-fashioned airwaves. It will supplement our cable-having main setup. There are twelve hours of tournament--32 games--tomorrow and Friday...oh, to be unemployed.

  • You should also be able to get it over the air on channel 7.2 via a digital receiver/digital television--it doesn't necessarily have to be HD or Comcast digital cable.

I'm just glad you explained why sometimes my DVR records an hour of airport traffic instead of CSI.

KIRO, I want to make babies with you!

Actually you have to have digital comcast. I have old school analog comcast and this channel 177 nirvana of which you speak is out of my grasp.
