norway.jpgPass the krumkake and don’t skimp on the pea soup. It’s Norwegians Gone Wild this weekend at The Annual Tastes of Norway Heritage and Cultural Day in Ballard. The yearly event is a great opportunity to sample all things Norwegian. Not only can you eat like the gluttonous Norwegian tabby of folktale fame, but you can see artists demonstrating the traditional crafts of cutwork embroidery, called Hardanger, and rose painting or rosemaling. Norway Heritage and Cultural Day is this Saturday, March 11, from 10am to 3 pm at Leif Erikson Hall, 2245 NW 57th St, Ballard.
