Sculpture Park Coming

In our newsletter from SAM yesterday they told us all about the progress that's been made at the Olympic Sculpture Park over the course of Feb, but we can't find that same information on their website. They say they're finished with their restorative efforts on the seawall.

Repairs to the seawall were combined with the shoreline restoration effort to establish an ideal habitat for migrating juvenile salmon. Large rocks, or rip-rap, were layered with finer gravels and placed against the existing seawall, forming a habitat shelf that will eventually support a self-sustaining kelp forest.

Here's the official update page and here's the peeper cam. Only a billion more months until it opens! Actually it says "2006" and we'll believe that even though the web cam says they have a lot of work ahead of them.
