Celebrate Swedish Gold with a Breakfast of Champions

Expect to see the streets of Ballard teeming with puffed up Swedes yelling "Vi Vinna!!" To get a taste of the glory, we recommend stuffing yourself with fluffy golden medallions this Sunday, March 5, at the Swedish Cultural Center. The monthly pancake breakfast kicks off at 8 am and runs till 1:30 pm. For $6, you get flapjacks smothered in lingonberries and whipped cream, plus ham and coffee. As an added bonus, centarians in traditional costume usually dance and perform live Swedish music while you eat.
