While we were all snug as bugs in a rug (or getting drunk) listening to our fearless leader defend his illegal wiretapping activities in his feel-good State of the Union address, the Electronic Frontier Foundation got down to the business of suing AT&T for releasing wiretapped phone information to the NSA.
A mere 3 hours after posting, the debate was raging over at Slashdot. What does this have to do with Seattle, you might be asking yourself? Nothing, as long as you haven't been discussing politics, complaining about the president, or saying the word "Iraq" while on the phone with anyone, ever.

Three cheers for the EFF! I can’t wait to renew my EFF donation. I have to wonder what kinds of all sorts of watch lists I am on since I support the EFF. But then again I am a Young Democrat in Washington so who knows what kind of file the NSA/RNC has on me.
