Three Hour Lunch Excuse This Week
Get yourself out of the office for a while tomorrow. With a quarter of the cube dwellers home sick and another half dozen in the midst of some mid-winter Whistler trip (that you really should have freed up the funds for, we're sure you realize) no one's going to miss you if you dissappear for a long lunch this week.
If you are looking for a lunchtime field trip away from the office tomorrow there's a Transportation Choices talk happening from noon to one. Ok, that's only one hour but take another one to walk over there and one afterwards to digest what you've heard over a few beers. It's billed as "Transportation 101 Meeting – Brought to you by Flexcar!" and they're going to talk about Sound Transit light rail, various municipal transit agencies and "What happens if I’m stuck in Seattle and need a car for an hour or two?" (hint hint, we ain't sponsored by New Balance). City Council member Richard Conlin will be on hand to say a few words on the subject of Seattle transportation and remember that it's BYOLunch.
