Seahawks Pride Across The Puddle

A few years back Seattlest used to go down to Sluggers near the stadiums to watch football on Sunday mornings. The first year we did that things were pretty chill there as games were being held at Husky Stadium. Opening day the following season we forced ourselves out of bed against a big hangover and got on the bus to downtown, hoping to arrive before 10am kickoff. We made it, but when we breezed through the door to Sluggers we weren't greeted with the subdued drinking and televised bliss we were expecting. Games had moved back to Qwest Field and we were blasted with the full force of hundreds of face painters getting in their pre-game shots and actually fucking singing. Possibly a lot of the people from these pictures of the Seahawks Pride Parade over the weekend in Kirkland were there. Damn them for that day..

What's wrong with singing?

Actually there's nothing wrong with singing and I'm a huge fan of Euro style synchronized singing and chanting - I just wasn't prepared for it that particular morning.
