Zoom In On Seahawks Stadium

seahawksstadium2b.jpg

Google added a couple of zoom levels to their satellite maps two days ago and while we were panning around downtown Seattle trying to spot ourselves we came across Qwest field filled with fans and the away team pinned inside the five. One hundred Seattlest Credits (absolutely no value) to the fanatic who can tell us when this game happened, what the final score was, and how many times Shaun Alexander pointed at heaven. Here's a hint - They're playing in Seahawks Stadium, not Qwest Field.

Then that's the Cougs headed towards a saftey in the picture.

  • All the red in the stands seems to confirm that this is indeed a Cougars game.

Young jedi's, one must pan to the fifty yard line to get the answer. It's a Coug game (they play one home game in Seattle each year). It's the Sept. 17th game against Grambling St., although it could have been the Colorado game played September 11th, 2004.

    Rockford I'm not.

  • Frank

Well, doesn't that giant Cougar logo in the middle of the field suggest that it was one of the time that Cougs played here in 2002 or 2003?

  • Dan

I thought at first we might be witnessing a punt because of the way the offense is set and because it looks like there's someone hanging out on the 30, but the rest of the hawks seem to be in their regular defense.

  • Seth

Looks like they are playing a team that uses a single-back formation--the Cowboys?
