Help Empty Empty Space At Their Rummage Sale

We loved loved loved the site where the Empty Space used to have their little things over in Fremont. Yes, part of it was that we could walk there if we were so determined but Seattlest also thinks that it was just the perfect size for a...middling to struggling financially theatre company. There were maybe, what, a hundred seats in there? That's the perfect size.

Nevermind the fact that we haven't seen anything there since Tiny Ninjas (damn! Was that last spring?). Well, now everyone has seen their last show at the Fremont Empty Space because they're moving on out. No more walking to Empty Space for Seattlest - They'll be at the Lee Center where Marion runs into Seattle University. They're scheduled to schlep all their crap over to the new location next week but before that happens you have an opportunity to go buy it from them and schlep it back to your house. They're having a fire sale at the Fremont location on Saturday, January 21, where they'll be selling "lots of vintage Empty Space costumes, theatre equipment, props, furniture, office equipment, posters, and many, many other miscellaneous items." Many miscellaneous items, yo! Seattlest is definitely going to stop in there and say our good-byes to the old space and if the planets happen to be aligned correctly maybe we'll take home prop or two. You might get to check out the new digs sometime relatively soon at an open house type event but they don't have any scheduled performances until the spring. Meanwhile, the Fremont site will be overrun by ...uh, who knows. Probably a boutique of some kind or a new yuppie bar.
