Fortson: "I'm about to flip out."

fortson0311_crazy.JPG Danny Fortson is "about to flip out," reported Danny Fortson to the Seattle P-I's Gary Washburn yesterday.

Fortson's latest run-ins with team management came when he went to visit his mother before the Sonics' loss in Philadelphia, missing a shootaround. He also committed two fouls in 26 seconds of play in the Sonics' loss to Miami.

The Sonics forward contends he is injured. "I am not going to sit here and break a kneecap for people who are tired of me being here," says Fortson.

Fortson, who is making $6.4 million this year, won't request a trade: "I just request some time to chill out and let myself heal and get some truth around here," he said. "It seems like I am getting hatred. I am not paranoid. But that's how it is."
