Festival of Concerts and Where to Find Them

Every year around this time, Seattlest gets a little backlogged with things to do. Maybe it's the season, maybe it's the fact that we're leaving town, or maybe it's a conditioned feeling left over from our experiences in middle and high schools. Every year, we subjected ourselves to a litany of winter and "holiday" concerts with all of the various musical groups we were a part of. (Excuse us while we re-repress that memory.)
Regardless of where this feeling comes from, we're glad that we're not performing ANYthing this weekend. All we have to do is crank out a good 20 dozen cookies, but at least we don't have to do it standing in heels under hot lights in front of lots of people. We'll leave that to other folks.
So we're happy to present you with this somewhat long, nowhere near comprehensive, list of holiday-esque concerts taking place this weekend and into next week. If you're looking for something to give that hard-to-buy-for person on your list, consider tickets to one of these shows. You know, along the lines of that "Give experiences Instead of stuff" idea.
