-The contract that gives reporter Bill Richards free reign to report on the Joint Operating Agreement between the Seattle Times and the Post Intelligencer is set to expire at the end of December, Editor and Publisher reports. Richards claims he has not been informed whether he'll be renewed.

-A rockstar scientist is behaving like a rockstar rockstar according to the Seattle Times. Biotech bigwig Robert Nowinski was arrested for failing to pay child support just before Thanksgiving. Said Nowinski, "Now I aint sayin she a gold digger, but she aint messin wit no broke niggaz." Well, actually, he says he is broke.

-The father of the girl missing in Lakewood, WA spoke to KIROTV and told the station that he believes that his daughter was abducted.

-Check out the new 747 over at the P-I. Pan Am posh is on the way back. In other Boeing news, the company signed a deal with Qantas for 115 Dreamliners.
