Pound Pup of the Week: Meet Molly

Molly.jpg
October is Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, and in support of such a noble cause, Seattlest is pleased to present you with our Pound Pup of the Week...along with our pet-ad translator.

Meet Molly. A one-year-old mutt whose family left her behind, Molly's got a cute smile, no?

The downside? Here's where the code comes in.

Molly is a "playful one-year-old" who will "need some initial housetraining." Read: Spazzy little girl who still pees in the house. Hardwood floor or tile in your home a plus!

Molly is "reported to be good with children and other pets." Read: If you have any of those, find out the actual scoop on Molly.

Molly would "love to join an active family." Read: Molly is energetic. Be prepared to take Molly running.

We think Molly's issues are all fixable and we've always been partial to the female dogs. Molly awaits you at the Humane Society of King County in Bellevue.

If you're interested in adopting a dog (or cat, or whatever sort of petlike animal), try our local animal shelters: the Seattle Animal Shelter on 15th Ave NW (near Utilikilts) or the King County Humane Society (right off 90 in Bellevue). You can also pre-shop at Petfinder, though we are not responsible for obsessive use of this site.

(And if error messages mean anything, last week's Pound Pup, Larry, has been adopted!)
