Architecture in Helsinki Via Seattle

ipodnano.gifIf you are a fan of the Arcade Fire (and if you don't have a ticket for their Wednesday night show at the Paramount), then you might want to get your indie fix at the Architecture in Helsinki show Thursday night at Neumo's. Both bands have a penchant for wacky instrumentation combined male and female indie-style singing. Plus, their songs are dance-able, which is never a bad scene (unless of course you have seen us dance).

Plus, Architecture in Helsinki has a really pretty web site and while we feel a little nerdy for commenting about a web site, we like their site.

On the not feeling like leaving your house front, we were pleased to note that our beloved Amazon.com free music downloads page has gotten a new batch of DRM-free mp3's to load onto your ipod, computer or ye olde mp3 player. There are new tracks from Interpol, Elliot Smith, Bloc Party, the New Pornographers, Dead Meadow, Beck, and Tom Waits. We will be downloading like a guy that downloads a lot of music. (Apologies, we are too busy downloading to spend time writing a simile.)

Check it out.
