<description>&lt;p&gt;Will Shortz wrote a good piece about Sudoku in the August 28th New York Times. If memory serves, the puzzle started in the US (Texas, maybe?) and Dell--the people who make those EASY CROSSWORD books on crappy paper--has been publishing them for a while. They just didn&apos;t become a hit until they got to Japan, then full circle back to the U.S. The stores at Heathrow are chock full of Sudoku books. Just kinda interesting, but not as interesting as a good crossword.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
