New Ipods and Gorillaz in 3D

ipodnano.gifSince Seattle is a big techie town (perhaps explaining why our Ye Olde 8 Track store was unsuccessful), we offer today's techie music news.

Apple, launched a new line of their popular iPod digital music player which they dubbed the iPod Nano as well as a new Motorola Music phone that syncs in with the popular iTunes. The new iPod Nano comes in 2 and 4 gig configurations is skinnier than a pencil and has 14 hours of battery life. The new Motorola phone is available through Cingular and is a nice way for you to carry around fewer devices, while still getting the music you love.

You know what we say to that 'Please, please, please can we have an iPod Nano'. It's so neat and all around slick and if we get one we promise to take care of it and we'll do the chores all day and we'll walk it and clean up after it.'

The other big techie music news of the day is that everyone's favorite animated band that is not Josie and the Pussycats or Coldplay (oh, wait according to our sources Chris Martin is real), the Gorillaz will be touring in 2007 as 3D holograms.

The future is now (or in perhaps 2007). (We anxiously await our jetpack).
