Emo, Metal and Auto Supplies

mini-bloodbrothers_200.jpgDespite the fact that their new album has been flooding p2p networks for weeks (naughty emo kids!), the new Death Cab album, 'Plans' is officially available tomorrow. It is expected to sell approximately 100,000 copies in its first week, which isn't bad considering lead singer, Ben Gibbard, has the world's roundest head (de-throning former champ Phil Collins).

After napping through last night's VMA, with host Diddy (who is about as musically relevant these days as the Gin Blossoms,) you might want to cleanse your palate with some live music this week. May we recommend the W.A.S.P./La Guns show at El Corazon on Wednesday night. Nothing will make the week go faster than the anticipation of seeing middle-aged guys in leather pants.

If you are feeling a little more 'punky' then grab your mis-matched socks and check out Hella at Neumo's on Wednesday night. We especially encourage you to blog about the band, since we feel sorry that a google search for 'Hella' has them behind an Automotive lighting and electronics, OEM and aftermarket supplier. When you trail and aftermarket supplier, you need our help.
