<description>&lt;p&gt;Received an email in reponse to this post that pointed out this: http://www.gelfmagazine.com/gelflog/archives/media.html#intelligent_following.

The gist of it is that the Onion wasn&apos;t the first to  transfer the thought behind Intelligent Design to another branch of science, and cooincidentally (or not) the Onion chose the same branch a cartoonist had previously.
