Go! Team Once Again

Seattlest faves and old skool raves, the Go! Team, are headed back our way (10/25, to be exact). Yes, yes- you missed them the first time around. So did a lot of people. "It's too hot," you said. "I don't want to come home smelling like an ashtray," you said. "The album is too treble-y. Where's the bass?" you said. Well, Go!

Team mastermind, Ian Parton , agreed with you on that last one. Does that mean their debut (Thunder, Lightning, Strike), which has been rejiggered for release in this country, will now shake 30% more butts out on the dance floor? Unknown. What is known is that the band has released a tour-only EP for their Australian gigs. We'd love it if they still had copies come Rocktober, but don't mind if they spread all that sunshine while in Oz- heck, it's winter down there! For those feeling bitter and dejected, there's always the comfort of peers.

Tickets on sale 8/19 (easy to remember, just a week away), so you've got no excuse this time around. The album hits these shores on 9/27 (also easy to remember- it's that Marla Gibbs sitcom + 700) So break out the jump ropes and get to work on your double dutch.
