What's That Thump-Thump off in the Distance?

flashBlock.gifPrepare to have another of your September weekends booked up. This year's Decibel Festival website was officially released on Tuesday, coinciding with the launch of presale passes last week. For those of you unfamiliar with Decibel, it's Seattle's own electronic music festival, bringing in DJs and producers from around the world, but with special emphasis on the regional scene.

Spanning across five venues, Decibel will take over from September 22-25, with a mix of DJs, laptop sets, and a variety of panels and clinics for budding producers. Coming off the successful stage at last weekend's Capitol Hill Block Party, and with a few more benefit events on the way before the Festival, the organizers are certainly doing their part to build interest for this very ambitious event.

Decibel Festival, September 22-26 2005
Various Venues: Barca, Neumos, Chop Suey, Broadway Performance Hall
Pre-sale Passes: $35 for Evening Pass, $50 Full Access Pass (limited to 300)
