DJ-AM Represents

What are you doing on Friday night? Well it doesn't matter, cause you must cancel. DJ-AM is spinning at the Last Supper Club. Who is DJ-AM, you ask? He is a hip-hop DJ who is most famous for dating Nicole Richie. An old social theorist once quipped fame is a sexually transmitted disease. Have sex with someone famous and there's a decent chance that you too will be famous. For the record, however, we are not saying DJ AM got this gig merely by dating Nicole Richie, we are assured by a friend that he is, in fact, a talented DJ.

To prove this, we checked out his resume from his website.

We especially like that it's detailed enough to include whether or not he did all of the scratches on a particular recording. You'll see that DJ-AM performed all of the scratches on the classic 'Black Suits Comin' off of the even more classic 'MIB2' soundtrack, while he only did some of the scratches for the 2002 Powerman 5000 album. We imagine DJ-AM in his darkest moments, sitting up alone and praying that life was a little different and that he was the sole scratcher on the Powerman 5000 album, thus granting him the right to put ALL on that line item.

If going to a hip-hop dance party is not enough of a reason for you to go to the Last Supper Club on Friday night, we would like to remind you by attending you would be in the same room as someone one degree of separation from Lionel Richie. Anything that we can do to get closer to the man that made the Jerri curl cool is all anyone can ask (except perhaps the magical ability to dance on a ceiling or be sculpted by a blind girl).

Despite the odd resume selection, AM is actually an excellent party DJ. He beat matches superbly and has an incredibly diverse record collection.
