If You Like Some Music

If you like DJ Shadow or Thievery Corporation, then Chop Suey will be the place for you tonight. It's not that he's playing there, but Mocean Worker is and frankly we think they sound alike (which is a good thing). Mocean Worker does that whole collage of sounds to make dancey music thing that usually doesn't work, but in this case it does. Plus, you can look smug when you realize where one of his samples is from, and who doesn't love a music fan standing in the corner looking smug.

If you like Thin Lizzy or Big Star, then this evening you might want to consider Love as Laughter at Neumos. We really like their songs and think that we need more '70's style rock in our life. Excuse us as we turn up the Nuge.
