Stuck Boat

King 5 is reporting that a boat tied up traffic Thursday afternoon at the NE 45th Street entrance to I-5.

The last thing this cruddy intersection needs is a boat-toting trailer to tie things up even more, but that's what it got. The trailer bottomed out on the crown of the road, pretty much completely blocking traffic. Two tow trucks couldn't pry the thing loose, so the driver backed up, got a running start, and made it through.

We only wish we had been there to hear the scraping sound.
