Get Out In the Rain This Weekend

mini-STFposter4web.gifLook out residents of The Ave - The University District Street Fair is going to be all up in your face Saturday and Sunday. Seattlest is guessing that the choices you made in life many years ago will dictate whether you'll be in attendance or not, so this post is just a reminder for the people out there who are firmly in the "Of course I'm going...when is it again?" camp. Or maybe you haven't been seen on University Way since American Apparel was Pier One. Go down and have a look.

The vendor list is long and predictable so we're just going to give you an alphabetic sampling:

  • Incredible Feats of Stupidity
  • Indian Arts 1
  • Indian Arts 2
  • Innovations by Craig
  • Intertwined Designs
  • Intuitive Indulgence
  • Jana Cooper Jewelry
  • Jeff Speigner Photographs
  • Jenisis Jewelry
  • Jenuine Jewels
  • You should now know exactly what you'll be able to find on the tables and what you won't. The entertainment schedule can be found here, but the short of it is a lot of bands and the Squirrels.

The music will be over long before dark so there's plenty of time to make it down the Showbox for Saturday's rock at the Showbox courtesy of ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead. We love Upcoming.org, by the way, and you can see their listings over on the right there, but the nature of that particular beast means that there will be a few innacuracies from time to time. Don't go to Neumo's expecting ...Trail of Dead Saturday. The show is at the Showbox.

Finally, don't forget the myriad line standing opportunities you have Friday, Saturday and Sunday at SIFF.
