Showdogs: The Big Show
Previously on Showdog Moms and Dads: Seattle's own Brandon and Ryan took Liberace to doggie physical therapy and headed off to Philadelphia for the Big Show.
Worlds collided on last night's Showdogs episode as the five families assembled in a bed-and-breakfast outside of Philadelphia. Last week we proposed betting on the first person to be bitten by Liberace--and we can't declare a winner, since the little terror managed to nip at almost every other cast member during his first ten minutes in the house.
The kind showdog people took pity on Brandon and Ryan and tried to give them advice; Brandon mostly got defensive but also got weepy. Later that evening, the guys had another ridiculous, overly dramatic argument, but this time--instead of involving the Issaquah police or LAX--they simply argued loudly enough to wake up everyone else in the b-and-b. (We happen to avoid b-and-bs precisely for this reason: the other guests.)
In other Showdog news: Connie and George did so-so in the ring but gave lots of advice to Brandon and Kyra. Moira won a ribbon, as did her son Adam. Kyra tanked at the show and was dismissed by the other showdoggers as a "trickster." She also hurt her back and got a curiously intimate massage from the b-and-b owner. Sweet childless Lourdes had a sweet mommy crush on Adam.
Scenes from next week: The boys quit the dog show and go shopping in Philadelphia instead.
Ryan's feather-boas-for-dogs business is on the web here.
